Members of the African Green Store Network (AGSN) from eight partner institutions and four African countries (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Kenya, and Nigeria) attended the GFFA 2025 in grand style, with support from the Erasmus+ project. This year's event, which officially opened on Thursday, 16th January 2025, focused on the theme: "Farming a Sustainable Bio-Economy" and revolved around four central issues: producing biomass sustainably, using biomass sustainably, strengthening innovation, and creating a fair framework.

AGSN's participation aimed to enhance network visibility through networking and exchanges with a wide range of international actors in the field of agriculture. As one of the 25 exhibitors presenting creative approaches and forward-looking ideas (https://www.gffa-berlin.de/events/innovationsforum-17-01-2025/), AGSN's exhibition stand emphasized "Strengthening Innovation – Promoting Communication". The network showcased its achievements in agricultural sustainability, youth engagement, and agro-ecology, which attracted keen interest from most visitors.

The highlight of the first day for AGSN was the visit of the Parliamentary State Secretary, Mr. Muller, to the AGSN stand. Mr. Muller interacted with AGSN representatives and expressed his delight in learning about the network's initiatives.

In addition to the exhibition, AGSN members attended different expert panel sessions to gain insights into the forum's four central themes.
You can follow the second day's events through live streaming on the GFFA website [here at 11:30 am](https://www.gffa-berlin.de/en/livestreams). Stay tuned for more updates on the GFFA 2nd-day activities.
